All men of the church are invited to the monthly Men's Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on
the last Saturday of each month at MMPC's own kitchen! (Cooking starts at 7:30 a.m.) It's a great time for
fellowship and service. Watch the weekly bulletin for details. In addition, there is

Music Groups
Music plays a major role in our worship service and fellowship with one
another at Mira Mesa Presbyterian Church. Our music groups include:
Chancel Choir -
The Chancel Choir welcomes anyone who loves to sing to join them on Thursday
evenings for practice and fellowship. They are a regular part of the
Sunday worship service. Members have included youths as young as those in
Junior/Senior High up through our beloved seniors. The repertoire is varied; it
ranges from the classics to gospel, from organ-accompanied to fully orchestrated.
The best part is: You don't have to be able to read music to join!
Celebration Bells -
For those of you who love music (and can count!), come join the
Celebration Bells! They typically practice on Monday evenings and perform during Sunday worship, once per month or so.
On occassion, its members perform duets and trios. They can teach you anything you need to know to ring the bells!
Children's Choir -
For children, there is the opportunity to sing in the Children's Choir.
This music time is held immediately after Sunday School.
The children share songs that they've learned with the
congregation during Sunday worship services several times per year and
during special occasions such as the family Christmas service.
Ensemble -
For those of you who like to sing and/or play instruments and can't get to chancel choir rehearsals, or you
want to be involved in more music groups, we have ensemble groups that meet in an adhoc basis. We do our
music about once a month (more often in July) and you can pick and choose which piece(s) you want to do.
Contact Steve or the Worship Committee for more information.
There is also special music that is provided by
a number of soloists and other musicians from the church and community.
