Those wonderful men and women of MMPC who helped set up and clean up the tables include: Bob Burke, Jim & Sue Fanshier, Cheryl Weldon, Ed Pollack, and others. The Fellowship Committee expresses a sincere appreciation for all your help. We could not have done it without you. We are looking forward to 2018!

Place the items in the box in the Narthex. If you have any questions, please contact Tracy or Sheryl McAtee.

Heavenly Hands Craft Bazaar Items Needed! It’s not too late to make and donate Hand-Crafted items or Baked Goods that you create at home at your own pace. Notify Edith Pollack of your interest, or place a notification in the Heavenly Hands mail slot in the MMPC office. Please refer to the insert in this week’s bulletin for more information.

Heavenly Hands Craft Bazaar Workshop October 15th - There is an HHCB Workshop scheduled after Worship TODAY. Sue Fanshier will be leading the participants in making Oreo Balls and Chocolate Sauce. It will take place in the kitchen. Everyone is invited to attend and participate!

Prayers & Squares quilting Ministry Workshop - Please join us on Saturday, October 21st, in the conference room from 9:30 a.m. until Noon. Prayers & Squares is open to anyone with an interest in meeting new people and working on prayer quilts for those in need of our prayers. If you have questions or would like to request a prayer quilt, prayer square or prayer bear, please call Mary Jane Hubbard or Peggy Davis or speak to anyone involved in this prayer ministry. If you leave a Prayer Quilt Request Form in the mail box in the office, please call one of us so we can schedule time to work on your request. Thank you!

Opportunities from His Hands for Honduras - We are in our planning stages for our medical brigade trip to Honduras in January and are hoping that some people from your church might like to join us. We need medical and non-medical people to go with us. The cost is $2,200 and includes medicine, flight, hostel, transportation in Honduras, insurance and food. Project Compassion and His Hands for Honduras are partnering together to help about 250 children/adults a day in three different Cristo Centro church communities: one day each in Nueva Florida and Zolano, and two days in Rio Blanco. We are also planning a day of relaxation at the beach on Friday. If you would like to go on the trip, a commitment needs to be made by the end of October. The following will help you to understand how you can do that: Go to projectcompassion.org -> Mission Trips -> 5 Easy Steps for details on these 5 steps: 1. Fill out an Outreach Application, 2. Trip Acceptance Verification, 3. Trip Preparation, 4. Trip Cost, 5. And you’re off!
